Yup. That's a thing that exists, and that Ryan felt appropriate to gift his girlfriend. Sorry, ladies, he's taken!
Ryan was close; it was the Apollo 10 crew who debated the turd identity. The contention was between Commander Tom Stafford (CDR) and Lunar Module Pilot Eugene A. Cernan (LMP).
At the time of recording none of us had seen Star Trek Discovery, so Ryan was shocked when he DISCOVERED that the design for the USS Enterprise from the defunct "Planet of the Titans" motion picture (right) was re-purposed for the USS Discovery (left). It's still a powerfully ugly vessel. But the new show is amazing.
Ryan's Floro Dery-esque design for the "CURIOUS METALLIC "PEEPER" FISH. The fish are cigar-shaped, long nosed, one-eyed and they PEEP, PEEP, PEEP like tinny chickens..."
It was this castle that stood in for a Transformers base in Aaron's childhood.
Ryan's Great Couch Wars of 1987. There's a lot going on here, Transformers, Voltron, Star Wars, ThunderCats, M.A.S.K., and some I can't remember. Rock Lords! And notice the bouncy hobby horse in the right corner of the first picture.
