THE APEROL SPRITZ
For this cocktail you will need:
2 oz. (60 ml) Aperol
Which is an Italian bitter aperitif, certainly less bitter than Campari, with rhubarb and citrus notes. It’s lovely.
2 oz. of Prosecco sparkling wine
Club soda
Fill a wine glass with ice, add Aperol and Prosecco, then fill with club soda. Garnish with a wedge of orange.
And I should have bought individual Prosecco bottles, but I had a full bottle already chilled in the fridge, so I used that - in short, there’s a lot more sparkling wine over there.
