For this episode and the next I decided on just some light, hopefully refreshing, Caleb, cocktails for the dog days of summer. Today we’re having:
THE PALOMA - JETT-STYLE
For this cocktail you will need:
2 oz. (60 ml) tequila blanco
½ oz. (15 ml) fresh lime juice
~ 4 oz. (120 ml) of grapefruit soda
Traditionally this Mexican cocktail is made with Jarritos grapefruit soda, which I have some of to try. Squirt is also popular. But because I’m awesome and silly, I decided to make my own grapefruit soda, because I wanted the grapefruit to really pop. That’s a soda joke. I made my own grapefruit soda, is what I’m saying. Because I don’t think commercially available GF soda tastes very grapefruity.
8 ½ oz. (250 ml) fresh ruby red grapefruit juice
1 oz. (60 ml) agave syrup
16 oz. (500 ml) club soda
Add all ingredients except soda in a shaker and shake with ice
Strain into a large rocks or Collins glass over fresh ice and top with grapefruit soda
Garnish with a grapefruit slice. A pinch of salt is also recommended.

I mentioned that I would have loved to see a frog BW character, and, coincidentally, Mikel Andrews had recently reimagined Springer as a BW character with a frog alt.
Slim Pickens, friends. This is actually a pretty tamed down version of the characters he is famous for.
Honestly, aside from the aggregious lyric that Raphael is the leader of the group, it’s a pretty accurate description of the movie. I’m sure the artist was just given an outline of the story.
