CLASSIC HOT TODDY
· 1.5 oz. (45 mL) whiskey
o I used 100 proof Rittenhouse Bottle-in-Bond Rye Whiskey, but you can use whatever whiskey you like, American, Irish, Scotch – dealer’s choice!
· ½ oz. (15 mL) honey
· ½ oz. lemon juice
· 6 oz. (175 mL) hot water
o Heat water in a kettle or stovetop – Did you guys know that we Americans get mocked online for microwaving water? I don’t understand this roast
o Combine whiskey, honey, and lemon juice in a heat-proof mug
o Pour in hot water and stir until combined
o Garnish with a lemon wheel and cinnamon stick
