Today we have a smoked Old Fashioned. I’ve had this cocktail smoker for like a year and shockingly never used it on the show. I think I’ve used it like, once? Traditionally Old Fashions are made with bourbon, but I chose Rittenhouse Bottled in Bond rye.
2 oz. (60 ml) bourbon
1 teaspoon demerara syrup
2 dashes angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters
Stir all ingredients with ice and then strain into a glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange and a lemon twist.
