TRYPTICON ENERGON FITZGERALD
This is a gin-based cocktail with a relatively recent origin. It was created by Dale Degroff while working at the Rainbow Room in NYC in the 1990s.
· 1 oz. (30 ml) London dry gin
· 1 oz. vodka
· ¾ oz. (22 ml) lemon juice
· ¾ oz. simple syrup
· ¼ oz. (7 ml) of blue curacao
· 2 dashes Angostura bitters
o Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a coupe.
o Garnish with a lemon slice – I used a dried because they look cool and I dehydrated a bunch of them a while ago because I wasn’t going to use the lemons in time
· This cocktail is guaranteed to give you all the energon power necessary to conquer your foes and see them driven before you
· If you want a traditional Fitzgerald, which, admittedly, is superior, double the gin and leave out the vodka and blue curacao. I was just trying to be fun and tie it into today’s episode. Also I know energon cubes are purpler but I tried making it purple and it turns out, purple drinks look disgusting.
