I don’t have a clever work-in connection for this one with our episode, I just wanted to make painkillers. This Tiki cocktail is fucking delicious.
This is one of only two trademarked cocktails, the other being Gosling’s Dark ‘N Stormy.
· Technically this cocktail can ONLY be made with Pusser’s Rum
o They have sued places over this shit
o So fuck them, we’re going rogue, because I’m antiauthoritarian
§ I’m a man of the people
· 1 oz. (30 ml) orange juice
· 1 oz. cream de coconut
· 4 oz. (120 ml) pineapple juice
· 2 oz. (60 ml) rum
o I used ¼ oz. (7.5 ml) Rum Fire overproof
o ¾ oz. (22.5 ml) Appleton Estate gold rum
o 1 oz. Cruzan Aged white rum
· Shake with ice and open pour into a tall glass
· Garnish with grated nutmeg and a pineapple wedge
· This cocktail is so delicious
o It’s like a sideways, grown-up Pina Colada
